TWENTY FIRST MYSTERY

a poem by Oredola Olamilekan Ibrahim, Nigeria

Sitting on this couch my father left me
Towards the sky, the sun shines me
Verily the dream came to pass
Of everything now we have bypass
Now the hostility's burnt away
Between Stars and planet way.
Sitting on this couch my father left more,
Towards the sun, that burns no more
Poisonous gases of carbon monoxide
C.H.C, helium and dangerous oxide
Global warming,green house's gone forever
All kinds of earth shake gone together.
Sitting on this couch my father gave me
Gazing at the universe that's cool on me
Love and peace took a majestic throne
Loyalty and Brotherhood ordering tone
War,destructive metals in ocean depth
Race and type, all in the fire crept.
The sky full of spaceship to and fro
Traveling Light years from stoning throw
Mutuality reigns from earth to Pluto!
