a poem by William Willis, Scotland

the creation of the mind's glory
in their land of make believe
sparse knowledge of understanding
imagination being freed
a fairytale (child's story)
say like... The Wizard Of Oz
evoking worlds of magic
cinderella,santa claus
a child's imagination
will it all be gone too soon ?
no more seven dwarfs and snow white
or the man upon the moon.

the creation of mind's glory
in a world of science and firsts
the idea it is probable
imagination bends and thirsts
technical creations (all formed)
from seed of mind
electronically engineered
imagination of mankind
a mission
from the u.s.a.
eagle landed (we did smile)
borne of man's imagination (and)
nurtured dreams of every child
