SNOW

a poem by Lawrence Berger, USA

Snow
By Lawrence R. Berger

God has dandruff and white flakes fall to earth
to be piled up alongside of driveways.
Snow melts into water which turns into ice
that makes roads slippery.

We bring out the coats
for winter is here
time for boots and shovels
we get plenty of exercises

The fire is glowing in the hearth
the cider is warm
time for friends and family.
