"Sayonara"

a poem by Richard Gildea, UK - poetry writer, author, poet

For the 'People of Japan'
The Japanese people over centuries have been a very pragmatic race, which is epitomised in the word "Sayonara"'
The meaning is translated as "Let it Be". Their ancestors have indeed spoken words of enduring wisdom, which with the help of the world, will enable them to endure once more. All our prayers are with this great nation.
God Bless,
Richard
