A Tribute to Roy Douglas Kneale

a poem by Keith Lumbard, UK

I call upon all poets acclaim...
accede below, inscribe your name...
in confirmation to acquiesce...
upon a man of nobleness,

Mr Kneale, Sir Roy to most...
I meritoriously toast...
his syntax seems to tease the white...
and courteously all invite,

He of special lexis learned...
of highest reputation earned...
shares his wisdom bounds in wealth...
prolifically in style and stealth,

A man of rank and highest creed....
aspiring laureates should read...
none a poet more than he,
No higher mentor there could be.

A tribute to our dear friend and my mentor.
Roy Douglas Kneale a very fine and prolific poet.
Best wishes my friend, hope you are in good health and high spirits.
