"Fasten your Seatbelts, it’s going to be a Bumpy Night"

a poem by Richard Gildea, UK - poetry writer, author, poet

In response to my dear friend Marcia's Challenge

Take your seats and watch the girls who bump and grind the night away
Hunker down and hold on tight, lest moralistic wallets pull
Whilst Eve’s descendants tempt the hearts and minds of men who go astray
To fleece the Mark, the Yen or a Pound, from punters with their pockets full

Adam in his innocence, did cover her with figs and leaves
The wrong way round hissed devils spawn, who gloried in her nakedness
The fall of man with trousers down, who prayed forgiveness on his knees
Seduction came so naturally, to spare rib whom doth man possess

“Come up and see me” sometime soon, our lamplight ladies doth pronounce
Her ‘Pimp of Darkness’ brings delights, from ‘knowing tree’ a bite sublime
Ride the storm to Hades, ups and downs in careful measured ounce
Once bitten no more shyness shown, cursed now we are and for all time
