"WHEN I LET GO OF WHAT I AM, I BECOME WHAT I MIGHT BE“

a poem by Elizabeth Padillo Olesen, Denmark

I float on the face of the ocean
When I let go the fear to drown .
I reach the apex of a mountain
When I choose to look ahead
Removing the rope of doubt.
I let myself be by being me
Created, nurtured and sustained
By courage, faith, hope and love.
