a poem by Edwin Keith Jepson, UK - poetry writer, author, poet

There are millions of tears
Around the world
That would fill up an ocean bed
For the people weep for our Princess
Whom they cannot believe is dead
She was beautiful kind and caring
And always willing to share her time
Her thoughts and love
But a tragedy occurred one Sunday Morn
And it happened in the heart of France
And the car crash was horrific
And our Princess stood no chance
She was flown back
To England
For all her Countrys sake
And now our Princess Diana
Rests peacefully
By a lake
