CHRISTMAS SHOPPING

a poem by Edwin Keith Jepson, UK - poetry writer, author, poet

Busy shoppers in the street
Where down in Nottingham
They will meet
Other people every day
Busy shopping for Christmas day
It is hustle and bustle
With bargains galore
And no matter what you spend
You will always need more
There are presents
For the children
Mums and dads
Not forgetting your friends
So take loads of wads
Then theres food to buy
Decorations and all
How we love Christmas
We are having a ball
It is once a Year
So go round the bend
Whiz round the stores
And
Spend Spend Spend
