THE CAR BOOT SALE

a poem by Edwin Keith Jepson, UK - poetry writer, author, poet

One of the rages of today
Is a good old car boot sale
You can travel down to Cromford
And visit Tansley
Near Matlock Vale
Chesterfield and Derby
Are others that spring to mind
And theres Calverton
Near Nottingham
And many more you'd find
In Mansfield theres a few
And Pleasley's in the queue
What a pleasure they give to you
Them good old car boot sales
When on holiday
I am sure you'll find
Whilst enjoying peace of mind
Another car boot sale on show
And off for the bargains
You would go
There's Tattersall
Watnall and Hucknall
I may as well say
North South East and West
But where ever you go
I am sure that you know
The car boot sales are the best
