Sleeping Santa ( alliterative Haikus)

a poem by Nishu Mathur, India

Santa slumbers so...
Sonorous snores slowly sigh,
Stomach soars....subsides.

Mischief, mirth mingle,
Ecstatic elves all ears, eyes
Giggle gumptious.

Startled, Santa  sits,
Cherubic cheeks a crimson
Smiles smugly sheepish.

Elves exuberance,
Cascading cadence capers,
Galloping guffaws.

If I were Santa Claus...
