In Hearts We Hold That's Bright And All That's Blue.
As resonating chimes dictate the mood, Reverberating over active skies, All all anticipate the interlude, As forenoon years wave last its fond good-byes, In joining arms a melancholy moon, Orchestrates a universe of stars, Intoxication lifts the spirits boon, Celebrates a New Year calling (ours), Like branches of the bough a steadfast tree, That bend and sway in nature’s song and wine, Luxuriate in merriment do we, To unremembered words of old Lang syne, Through doors we bid farewell, and greet anew In hearts we hold that's bright and all that's blue.
(Adieu).
