Signals from the pituitary gland,
Spark ovulation of the ovary,
Feed oestrogen the follicle expands,
Where grow the eggs of life expectancy,
Another hormone, luteinizing, (then)
Does cause the follicle, to ovulate,
And structures called the corpus luteum,
Prepares the womb the embryo’s await,
Within the tubes Fallopian, the seed,
There fertilize the virgin embryo,
That move along the womb itself, (proceed)
For there within the uterus to grow,
From twinkle in the eye, we are, we be,
Complex ”per ardua ad astra” (we)
