MARRIAGE PLANNER (homonym)

a poem by Jacinta Ramayah, Malaysia - poetry writer, author, poet

In a chapel on an isle
I’ll walk down the aisle,
Caught an heir by his hair
Aye, feel I am floating on air,
Kept him merry and in a daze
Get to marry him in a few days,
Overwhelmed him with my scent
Now I plan to spend his every cent,
I may be a witch but I know I’m no Plain Jane
Which may bug you for he wants to buy me a plane,
I pray he’ll always be by my side, keep me safe thro’ the night
For he’s not a prey I’ve won but he's my one and only rich knight.
