A smile

a poem by Nishu Mathur, India

A tiny tear began its journey
Rising from the eyes,
Through dark lashes, down the cheeks
When it heard a little sigh.
The sigh shrugged and let it go,
It  never asked a why.
The little tear rolled further down
And another tear came by.
Down they rolled till a crescent curve
A crescent that arched in style,
The tears paused when they saw,
The crescent curve a smile.
And in the dimpled deep beside,
The tears did rest a while,
Little  drops of sorrow
Now cradled in a smile.

Would you know the color of music
NIGHT AND DAY
On Giving..
