Heralds of Spring

a poem by Michelle Klemm, Germany - poetry writer, author, poet

Some of the nights are still frosty,
yesterday it even snowed,
but the corn will soon be sowed.
It's time for a great house tidy.

The trees become tenderly green,
new life budges everywhere.
There's no time to dream in a chair,
it's time to break the old routine.

Sun intensifies warmth and light,
colourful flowers are sprouting;
they herald young and lovely Spring,
melt the ice of the cold dark night.

Now you are there
Beauty of Nature
Enchanted Forest
