Outside

a poem by Tracy Marie Windisch-Mason, Canada - poetry writer, author, poet

A dandelion
I scatter
Smiles
Like
Dust,
Within this
Room
Ah yes
Cook feasts
For guests
Still
Unknown yet
Door
Locked within
Lipstick
And apron,
Sunflowers
Outside
In laughter
Dance
In aroma
Tantalize
While you
Faceless
Nameless
Within vases
Of lilacs
I sense you
Outside the
Door
This
Skeleton key
Through fear
In
Chance
Does wildly
Dance
Yet
Come in,
Come In!
Shaken of trust
Yet to meet
You
Friend
Fragile leaf,
I will drift
Out
Like sunshine
Greet.
