Nailpolish

a poem by Tracy Marie Windisch-Mason, Canada - poetry writer, author, poet

In
Polish
With care
Michelangelo
Of nail care
She paints
Within shimmer
Glimmer
Shiny pink
Glorious
In vixen
I
Feel divine
Within shine
Showy fingers
Until later
When
The
Chipping
Begins
Like concrete glue
No acid will
Remove
The
Stubborn face
Of
Cheap
Nailpolish trace
In anguish ask
My daughter,
How to lose it
Blowing big bubble gum
Says
Dont know Mom,
Thats why I never
Use it.
