Ah Nishu

a poem by Richard Gildea, UK - poetry writer, author, poet

By name, a sound which imitates deft sneeze
In nature as in life, sweet giving flows
Such disposition as to gentle breeze
A fondness in the heart, through friendship grows
Soft words are woven as by silken thread
In coloured hues which lend themselves in part
Through sowing seeds shared wisdom doth imbed
Upon such canvas deemed true work of art
As Mater to her brood, hath nurtured dreams
Tranquillity throughout the earth doth seek
By sacrificial plea, or so it seems
Inheritance is deigned unto the meek
Seraphic beat of feathered forms ensue
Whilst wafted wings pronounce their own 'Bless You'
