a poem by Artana Sue rose Moreland, USA

Winding and turning red and blue,
Flower petals seemingly falling threw,
A pattern of streamers of White, Green, and Yellow too,
In the center a dark brown tree grew,
Twisting branches decorated while people stared and stayed unmoving,

On the ground and in the sky ribbons streamed,
A twig of a lady on a black mount riding by seemingly uncaring,
A beast of a man with a sword and a crown followed,
A Street of silver and gold behind them flowing,
A Street that formed a pattern that would never ever end.
