Inspiration

a poem by daniel chidie, Nigeria - poetry writer, author, poet

When i sit in the midst of silence
With ears so keen
?the crispy whispers of the air
The unranged voices of mere imaginations
Hissing into my head
I pick the pen n'down my words
Cos sure i know its the voice of inspiration
From the wake of dreams which are mine
Images of the abstract world
Paintng my day by its bizzare colours
N'thoughts so spent on my dream spree
Rushing back at the streak of sunlight
I pick the pen n'down my words
Cos sure i know its the colours of inspiration
