a poem by daniel chidie, Nigeria - poetry writer, author, poet

For in recount of events
Reality shows our folly
for Empty lies the room
Ruined of talented hands n'peaceful minds
Ghosts now being its occupants
Feasting on unnumbered lives
As earning grew tough as thier belly
Without grief or thought
They await more to consume
Viz on avaricious grounds
They stand to satiate thier's folly
On these attornment days
