"ACROSTICS NEVER WERE HIS CUP OF TEA:""

a poem by ROY Douglas KNEALE, UK

Some claim his name was but a pseudonym
Hiding his identity for ever;
A man who’s talents so ennoble-d him
Kings and Queens heaped praise on his endeavour.
Eloquence implied uncommon learning
Such as a normal school could not provide;
Penning works displaying a discerning
Employed by one who’d travelled far and wide.
Acrostics never were his cup of tea:
Renowned around the Globe today is he:
England’s greatest Bard - He Will ever be!
