My Own Space

a poem by Skye Kerri- Leigh Bagshaw, UK

You all give me my own space,
I wonder about my confusions with the human race,
Sometimes I am made to feel like a freak
Because I am different; I am meek,
To the world I am new,
What did I do to upset you?
But a few
Give me a chance
And I help at my cue.

I am not useless as they assume at first glance.
