Summer

a poem by Michelle Klemm, Germany - poetry writer, author, poet

Breakfast in the garden,
enjoying the gentle breeze.
Lets pick some flowers
blooming in so many colours.

Corn is growing tall,
crickets chirring, birds singing;
refreshing gusts of wind;
into the pool we're jumping.

The sun shines hot on the skin,
everyone looking for some shadow,
watching the azure sky
no single could in sight.

It's the time for airy clothes,
lots of naked skin can be seen,
everywhere are people laughing;
time to eat some ice cream.

Far into night we sit outside,
because it is not getting colder.
We should water our plants,
cause for rain there's a low chance.

A morning in Spring
Beauty of Nature
A day in late summer
