a poem by Phillip Joseph Hussey, UK

Love was a fiery horse of passion
That one day in my heart sprang
Born and bred in the fire of youth
Full of speed and fast fashion
Its flowing mane of fire rang
Fiercely expressed in fine truth
It grew and prospered in my life
Searching for a place to roam
Flames in its eye flashed around
In a world full of woe and strife
Near life’s beach and surfs foam
Looking for another love to hound
