What Is The Price Of Eternity?

a poem by Linda Bates Terrell, USA

Are
all blissful joys and riches worth it,
if led along the path-- at the expense of another's tears?
Some believe it is.

Should
the heart rejoice prayerfully for the Lord,
all while stepping past the sorrowful pleas of another?
Some believe it is.

Is
God's light the eternal key,
if one boldly pushes aside others into the dark to reach that light?
Some believe it is.
