If ever I must sing as poets have..Response to Bill Mathew- Musketeer Challenge Title

a poem by Rita Joyce Singh, India

BOB DYLAN

Blowing in the wind, Idiot Wind and and Times they are a changin
Most classic of all world's anthems, goose pimples ranging
Has his place in history so well cemented
God knows, he is a singing poet and demented.

If ever I must sing as poets have,If I ever can
I would first learn to unravel words like Bob Dylan
For anything he wrote or sang, people called it song
And what he wrote, left untuned, was called a poem

Note :Sorry for not contributing fully here I am very busy..however your poem title was beautifully profound, thank you...i could only think of Bob Dylan..todate there is no poet and singer who can match the soul of his unearthly lyrics ..He barely skirted the Nobel Prize and missed it, the controversy still rages whether he must be given poet laureate title or simply be called a singer. or not..whatever.. he has singularly influenced the world like no one else.
