light entwined

a poem by Leif Phillips, Australia - poetry writer, author, poet

break
the night with sound
lead it careless
to ground
a whisper
left of time
single glove
caressed of mime
shake
his hand in mine
make it strong
in light entwine
a breath
left of breathing
there is only
all we are
and the leaving.
