High I fly

a poem by Moses Michael N, Nigeria - poetry writer, author, poet

Though the heart grows weak. Though the spirit grows dim. Troubles surrounds me. My body grows weak. These things Surrounds me. He doesn't forget me. Though no one beseech me. So many dark many days, the long night tarry. Looking for the long awaited day. These things beseech me. He doesn't forget me. I feel the hope, this hope that burns within my heart. Better days are here. If it wasn't for God. He sent down his love. Like the eagle, at last high I fly.
