a poem by william andrews, Greece

Are you my shelter
could it be you
that i need
to keep the chaos
from bending my knees
to the thoughts that continue
to try to decay
the last piece
of my mind
that still waits
for the one
that will keep me
from drowning out here
in this wasteland
of skeletal tears
