So many a tear have I dried

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India - poetry writer, author, poet

So many a tear have I dried,
They would have filled,
The seven whole seas,
If only I had cried.

Weight of all anchors.
Is on me just tied,
I care a burden,
As situation doth try.

Let this burden be the last one,
Oh, my soul doth cry,
Yet he my strength doth try,
As men bye and bye, I try.

Let this furnace the last one,
Oh, my soul doth cry,
Yet he my metal refine
As men by and by I try

Refiner of gold I pray thee
Refine, Refine, Refine
Not in accordance to my will
But as you wish, define.

Thankful
