a poem by Skye Kerri- Leigh Bagshaw, UK

Life is a stretchmark you didn't know was being sold
A blot on your skin as you grow
An ugly reminder that you're becoming old
When you show your body everyone will know
And whatever you do you always see it
They don't go away
Whether you're fat or fit
Or whatever you rub on everyday
Big or small, pink or red
We all get them anywhere
You see them are are filled with dread
Because whenever you say "I don't care,"
You want to cry
Because saying you don't care how you look is a lie
