a poem by Moses Michael N, Nigeria - poetry writer, author, poet

Gazing into the future,
I am enraptured
Enchanted by the resplendent look of the son of man
Whose robe was as white as snow.
So incandescent, He could stand the Evil one
That fight of the great day of God.
I can feel the fate of those beguile by the Evil one
The assemblage of eternal doom
Glamour around a crystalline cascade,
Another gathering of the saved
With sweet soothing sound,
They could shout with joy ‘this is our Lord’.
Encompassed with this caprice,
I could hear another soothing sound from within
come blessed children of my Father this is your kingdom.
Your inheritance.
