Sizes

a poem by Skye Kerri- Leigh Bagshaw, UK

I hate clothes sizes,
They drive me up the wall,
They have little room for compromises
And aren't short enough for the small
But my biggest bugbear is the terror
I feel at the thought of it not being a fit
Due to a small size error
Making me feel like a bloated twit.
Online shopping I can't do
Because I need to try everything on first
It's a waste of time for me and you
Making me feel the clothes are cursed.
