My wife.

a poem by Moses Michael N, Nigeria - poetry writer, author, poet

Who doesn't crave for that perfect Barbie look.
We live in a world of beauty
Hers is nothing compared .
She shines like that bright morning star.

I was enchanted by her resplendent look
Within me I could tell my heart beat.
Never was I enraptured by the beauty of a damsel
Hers is different.

Encompassed by the imagination of her beauty ,
I could feel the caprice deep inside of me.
What fate is drawing near I ask myself
Would she turn down my hello?

Gazing at her from afar, I understand she saw me too
With her glamour looking, I could tell she is so full of light.
Walking closer and closer to her path I could look directly to her eyes . It shines like diamond
So full of light and so free of lies.
What a damsel. The smiles I noticed on her beautiful looking face, I could say she is mine. Hello damsel
She replied with a cool sooting sound hi.

Her voice sound so sweet like an instrument of many string.
Who doesn't crave for a perfect beauty? I could say she is the rose of Sharon,
That original damsel I saw in my dreams many many years ago
Today she is the mother of my son.
My wife.
