SHUKRAN ALLAH

a poem by peninnah ng'ang'a, Kenya

Rain falling beautifully from up above
Fire burning bright in front
Habibi's warm hands searching all over my body
Amr Diab soothing voice rocking on air...
What else can a woman ask for on such a velvet night?

Shukran Allah
For the little one so peace full asleep next room
For love, prosperity, happiness and laughter that echos on corridors of this house
But mostly for this fine man that turns this house into a home.

Shukran Allah.
