Congratulate My Mom...

a poem by Myrna Martin, USA

When I was 40, I realized what it meant to move on...
To give up the pain...
To grow up, and congratulate my Mom...
It wasn't easy for her...
No, damn well it wasnt...
But she did the best she could...
And I am amazed, with the love of my Mom...
I learned to forgive others, even though I WILL NEVER forget the pain..
I have learned to feel the grace of forgivness..
And for that to take away my shame...
I have realized, I OWE MY MOM EVERYTHING!
SHE OWES ME NOTHING...
She did what God tasked her to do....
And that was carry me in her womb...
To love me, and help me grow....
She was chosen for me...
Who am I?????
To ever disrespect the love of My Mother...
Who am I??? No one, but her Daughter...
So, yes.. I respect her with my whole heart....
Realize, there is none other, who will ever love me...
Ever cherish me...
Like the love of I have, of my Mother...xoxoxox
