Just Be Yourself

a poem by Mark Ainslie, UK

Going through life can sometimes seem,
Nothing more than a curious dream.
Trying to fathom out the needs of mankind,
Of loving thoughts and humble mind.

Doing what's right from day to day,
Trying to be true come what may.
Peer pressures not always to behold.
Be strong in spirit, honest and bold.

Making choices of how to be,
It must be your choice in reality.
Advice is sometimes hard to take,
Helping the decisions that you make.

We are all different that much is true,
With religious, and political points of view.
Don't be judged or measured by wealth,
Make your own mind up, just be yourself.
