The legacy

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India - poetry writer, author, poet

You are the fourth generation of nationalist,
How can they call you words,
This is false it's dangerous,
How can such words be heard.

Great great grandson of Motilal,
Freedom fighter of great repute,
Such grevious words are injurious,
I all such allegations refuse.

Wake up India, wake up,
Democracy is at stake,
Don't blame great grandson of Nehru,
In history they have a place.

Indira died for our country,
Rajiv for our motherland was slain,
If we call his son a traitor,
It's we who will bare the blame.

Some drops of tears
All my poems
Do not insult me
