A Silly Love Song

a poem by tobias kerins, UK

I miss your laughter and subtle sighs
Your tender lips and amazing eyes
The feel of your skin and gentle touch
I never knew I cared so much

I miss your humour and flashing smile
Your fashion sense and flowing style
The jokes we had and the arguments too
How much I cared I never knew

I miss your voice and the way you speak
Your eloquence and grand mystique
The loving things you said were such
I never knew I cared so much

I miss your company and feel alone
Your flesh is cut loose from my bone
The bond we had is in review
How much I cared I never knew

As the blood it does in my veins flow
I really didn’t I didn’t know
About just how much for you I care
My special love a girl so fair

Company humour laughter and voice
For me there is no other choice
I miss you so and care so much
Please come back and get in touch
