Kindness is the language, the deaf can hear and the blind can see
It costs absolutely nothing, comes with no fee
An ability to change, to better from worse
So natural an act, no need to rehearse

Kindness can come, in different shapes and sizes
Has no set schedule, just when it arises
Should always be second nature, for the system not a shock
Available at all times, every hour round the clock

Kindness has no rules, no guidelines to read
No order of play, with which to proceed
It’s just a natural flow, like the rivers and streams
But often can help, make somebody’s dreams

Kindness is virtually, worth its weight in gold
No bargaining chip, not to be sold
Value indeed, upon which we should dwell
A precious commodity, with a magical spell

Kindness is ignored by the selfish, so consumed with greed
That wouldn’t part with a virus, or the blood they bleed
It’s an alien body, in an uncouth mind
No wonder these people, cannot kindness find

In the words of Mark Twain, and that famous quote
I hope you find time, to someone devote
An act of kindness, that you found in your heart
And give someone in life, a helping start
