There is a sword right here

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

There is a sword right here,
Hanging above my head,
I know It's right here,
Yet I close my eyes.

Would my closing eye's change it
Well, I can't say,
Should I make it fall on me,
Should I wait maybe it may not slay.

It hangs, I know it,
It can easily fall,
It can all of us do stall,
Yet maybe it may not fall.

Let it hang on me,
Let it teach me to rely on,
For things beyond my control,
On the Almighty, I rely.

Not worthy of forgiveness,
Nor worthy of your grace,
Yet standing for forgiveness,
Which Christ can only Bail.

God's love and spiritual poems
He made the shadow retreat
Morning prayer
All my poems
Suffocation is getting suffocated in me
