I cried to the Lord in my anguish

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

I cried to the Lord in my anguish,
To the lord pleaded my case,
He whispered in words very clear,
I have answered you already my dear.

He had answered me 2000 years ago,
Whose prayer was heard He asked,
I knew the sinner went back forgiven,
I got assurance he had lightened my task.

Pharisees live in every age,
Burdening human heart and mind,
Those who look to Jesus,
Are the one's who succour find.

Do not fear the Pharisees,
Do not fear the Wolf's,
Shepard is just sufficient,
To undo all the Wolf's.

Note:- This poem is about people who pose to be righteous, though, in reality, they may be miles away from righteousness. God forgave the dacoit who had asked for forgiveness. So-called righteous people burden us with rules and regulations.

My Christmas dream
God's love and spiritual poems
I fight my battle on my knees
Woman should raise her voice
All my poems
I am standing next to generation next
