Darling

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Darling you are so fine,
Too hard for me to define,
Intoxicating much more than wine,
Captivating, as I always find.

You are brighter than the brightest,
You are ray of bright shining sun,
Dazzling yet soothingly mine eyes,
One look is not just sufficient.

Let me gaze at thee,
Let me refresh mine eyes,
You are fragrance of roses
You are beauty in it's fullness defined.

Your simplicity makes me wonder,
How could he ever combine,
All qualities of grace,
And that too in wine.

She is a rose
