80TH MUSKETEERS' CHALLENGE TITLE -HAPPY TO BE BORN A HUMAN FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND MAN..RESPONSE TO

a poem by Rita Joyce Singh, India

Response to Drsudarsan - Happy to be Born a Man - For The Love of God and Man 80th Musketeers' Title.

Our lives are marked against value
Of the difference we make
Our deeds show patterns He can view
To choose to weave or break
Happy we do, else cease to be
A thread upon His loom
For He weaves immortality
That leads beyond the tomb
So, for the love of God and man
To be born a human
Means, leave earth bettered, best we can
Is God the Weaver's plan

Note: Dear Drsudarsan, Thank you for this immense title. There is so much to write. I can remember the good qualities of a good human as shown in the poem 'If" by Rudyard Kipling. The very idea of your title implies how a human being born one, must bridge that space between man and god, serving god is first serving man.. by treating fellowmen with love..embracing their difference..oh, there would be many, 1,000 takes to your lovely title.BRAVO. You make me proud.(Incidentally, I studied in Pune Cantt.(then POONA -nine years of schooling, it is my wow city) Warm regards to all on VN. rita singh.
