In a diamond sea

a poem by Tracy Marie Windisch-Mason, Canada - poetry writer, author, poet

You may be
across
bent
within a thousand diamond
seas
I may be
Bent within this destiny
Yet you know its
a broken leaf this mirror
Of you and I
A thousand shards can
and will shred our feet
No accolade just silent waves to meet
A multitude of stones to
bruise our bodies yet
The stars lick divine
upon this lake of life of mine
for within your soul
I know it takes its scourged toll
Like seaweed upon the beach
We are not out of reach
For all it takes is time
And eternity is mine
