Being Blinded

a poem by william andrews, Greece

Being blinded
by religion
and scientific
dogma
is no different
then being blinded
by the sun
they both feel
comfortable
keeping the cold light
of truth
from our bones
but at the end of the day
when silence reigns

we're still blind
to the feelings
that shine
Everyday
