Goodbye Within

a poem by Tracy Marie Windisch-Mason, Canada - poetry writer, author, poet

You know I see
The creation of what once was
you and me
And bloom
Within the sudden shatter of glass
Years have passed
Yet you linger
So exquisitely I am torn
Before you this ballet of me
Yet you do not see the emptiness
Inside of me
And what could still be
Letting go
Is the hardest thing I know
What could I save
This lack of grace
This loneliness
This Goodbye
