Blushing skies

a poem by Mark Wayne Gittings, UK

The blushing skies, a sensational display
Citrus and blood blend after a day
Of hot sunshine and cool showers
Chilling out for hours and hours

The fully clothed tree in the distance
Above a seagull flys in an instance
Going some place I just don't know
Mindful contentment in summers flow

The slightest of breeze brushes my face
Nature is quiet in this pretty place
Colours fade from flowers on this night
The Stars perform until morning light
